Cuban research on sea turtles (1994-2021): authorship, subject, and collaboration analysis

This article analyzed Cuban research on sea turtles from a thematic and bibliometric perspective. has been mixed investigation in which content analysis techniques were applied. The Google Scholar database was used to retrieve documents. authors with the highest productivity those Fisheries Research Center (Cuba). areas most studied were: Studies nesting (41%) Conservation management (25.6%). south of Guanahacabibes peninsula Isla de la Juventud examined geographical areas. species Chelonia mydas, Eretmochelys imbricata, Caretta caretta. According centrality degree, important institutions Cuban, standing out for Research, Marine University Havana. significant collaboration links between Havana-Marine Center, National Company Protection Flora Fauna-Marine Center-Fisheries Havana-INSTEC.
